🎥 The Story Behind My QR Code Patterns
One of the biggest features—and strengths—of my patterns
is that each includes a QR code that links directly to a video tutorial showing the full making process.
When I first decided to include QR codes, the reason was simple:
images alone weren’t enough to explain every step clearly.
So, I wanted to guide makers through the process as if they were in a personal 1:1 class with me—via YouTube videos.
However, when I first introduced QR codes, I received a flood of unexpected questions:
“What is a QR code?”
“How do I watch the video on YouTube?”
Back then, it wasn’t yet a common thing to use in everyday life.
But everything changed after the pandemic.
Suddenly, people all over the world became familiar with scanning QR codes naturally—
and those questions disappeared completely.
Instead, I began hearing comments like,
“The video made everything so much easier to understand!”
Looking back, I realize that early decision was quite ahead of its time.
Nowadays, I see many other craft designers using the same approach—
adding QR codes so customers can watch detailed process videos.
It reminds me that this method truly became a helpful and meaningful service.
My ultimate goal has always been simple:
to help anyone—even complete beginners—create high-quality dolls easily and confidently.
That’s why I constantly think about where someone might get stuck,
or which parts might need clearer explanations.
Customer feedback has been incredibly valuable in improving my patterns.
Thanks to their comments and suggestions,
each update has made my designs more complete and beginner-friendly.
Even now, I keep filming new tutorials and refining my existing patterns—
always aiming for better clarity, higher quality,
and a smoother creative experience for everyone who loves making dolls.
